Marin Community Clinics (MCC) is a nonprofit health care organization offering integrated medical, dental and behavioral services to a little over 37,000 people at 6 locations spread throughout Marin County. We accept most insurances (Medi-Cal, MediCare, and private) and for those who are uninsured we offer our services on a sliding scale basis. At our sites we offer additional services such as; optometry, radiology, pharmacy, labs, chiropractics, acupuncture, cardiology, gastroenterology, and more - and when we don't have the specialty on site our referral department works with local providers to get our patients the care they need. Our mission is to improve the health of our patients and community by providing high quality, cost-effective, culturally sensitive, patient-centered health care.

We are looking for an Assistant to support our Chief Dental Officer. You will manage mostly business related tasks for her such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodation, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks. To do this role properly you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and generally be a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

To be successful as an Assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, Assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Preparing memos, letters, and other documents.
  • Filing and retrieving records, documents, and reports.
  • Helping prepare for meetings.
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
  • Greeting visitors and getting them accommodated before meetings.
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Researching to prepare documents for review and presentation to boards of directors, committees, and executives.
