Arts & Scraps often depends on volunteers to help support and carry out various activities. The addition of expert assistance in executing these services is encouraged, and always valued. Arts & Scraps is proud to operate several types of committees. For this Creation Station committee we are looking for enthusiastic, member-driven individuals who generate new ideas and are passionate about Arts & Scraps' mission.
Position Summary: Think and imagine ideas of Interactive STEM Stations and bring those ideas to realization. Meetings will be held up to two to three times per month. A background in education, working with children children, creativity, and STEM knowledge is preferred.

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
