Part Time Executive Assistant to Director

24 hours a week; general hours are 10 to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and hours may vary on some days depending on deadlines for special meetings and Director’s schedule. Provides administrative support to the Director for a major Capital Campaign, management and development activities as well as support to the Campaign Leadership and committee members. Job Duties:

  • Prepares documents for the ED for management and executive board level meeting
  • Provides administrative support to the Executive Director and capital campaign chairs for the three year Capital Campaign Project
  • Attends capital campaign committee meetings as needed
  • Maintains a capital campaign tracking timeline program
  • Updates donor pro for donor communications as needed and makes contact with businesses or donors to schedule meetings
  • Schedules meetings and manages ED’s schedule
  • Draft letters of communication and policies as directed for the campaign, donors or for advocacy work
  • Manages the Director’s mail in priority of action or review
  • Proof reads letters and communications for proper spelling, good grammar and formattingMature individual with at least 3 years of experience in Scheduling, Filing, Informing Others/Communication, Good Verbal and Written Communication, Administrative Writing Skills, Proficient in proof reading, WORD, Power Point, Excel, Publisher, and Drop Box. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and in a shared office. Must love dogs and cats and shall not be allergic to cats as they free roam in the office areas.
Skills and Qualifications:

Mature individual with at least 3 years of experience in Scheduling, Filing, Informing Others/Communication, Good Verbal and Written Communication, Administrative Writing Skills, Proficient in proof reading, WORD, Power Point, Excel, Publisher, and Drop Box. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and in a shared office. Must love dogs and cats and shall not be allergic to cats as they free roam in the office areas.
