If you live in Baltimore or Harford County, Maryland, and have a few hours a month - let us know!
We are looking for people who can pick up donations from various individuals, pet food stores, warehouse stores, corporate donors. These pick-ups could include heavy bags of kitty litter, food - both bagged and canned. You would have to load these items into your vehicle and drive to the designated drop off location. You may or may not have help to unload at the drop off location. This is a tough volunteer position, but it is vital for the continued success of our mobile pet food bank. Thank you for your consideration.

Mission Statement
Thankful Paws helps people understand the Human-Animal Bond.
Description
Thankful Paws was founded in 2011 as a Maryland 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since then the food bank has delivered over 75 tons of pet food and supplies to our clients! We have also received two Governor Citations as well as numerous community awards and recognition for our charitable work with the pet food bank. Thankful Paws was Maryland's first mobile pet food bank, and showcased the need for all other pet food banks that followed. It was through this trailblazing experience that we discovered the need for increased awareness about the value that pet food banks provide not just for the pets we feed, but also for the humans in their life.
We have recently expanded our services to include therapy dog management and an annual walkathon for Cushing's Disease Research.
