RIBBON DREAM PROJECT INC

Looking for somebody to join founder, Gilda Serrano, in developing organizational infrastructure and prepare to officially launch this new program, which will provide survivors of assault and domestic violence in San Francisco with community support and resources towards self-empowerment, upon release from county jails.

Primary needs include the development of a user-friendly website and social media. Other needs include grant writing and/or the organization of a fundraising event to celebrate the launching of The Blue Ribbon Project, and gather support to ensure the program's long-term sustainability.

Gilda, who has been working in the field for two decades and is a survivor herself. Despite working multiple jobs and having a family, Gilda, is 100% committed to supporting and empowering survivors of domestic violence. She is easy going and easy to work with.

Gilda would like to find a volunteer who is enthusiastic, reliable and able to make a 6 month commitment to meet regularly at a mutually convenient location in San Francisco, or elsewhere in the Bay Area

(This project works in alliance with, but independent of, California Project Focus.)
