Federal Way elder has lived in her home for 40 years. She keeps up with everything but falls when she tries to prune her well established plants like rhododendrons and other native shrubs. A team of 5 could knock this out in 2 hours. She'd be set until fall and can stop putting so much stress on her body trying to keep up!
Volunteer Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, assists low-income elders and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes. Volunteers who drive clients must be age 21 or older, and have a good driving record.
