We are actively seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteer with us! As a patient volunteer, you will truly make a difference in the lives of our patients and families. Help make an impact by visiting hospice patients in their homes or in facilities. Pay a friendly visit, accompany a patient to a activity, read aloud, reminisce with patients and listen as they share their memories and life stories, share your talents with patients through singing, playing an instrument, or creating art with a patient.
This opportunity is great for individuals looking to one day work in health care or for those looking to give back to the community.
Here's what one of our volunteers has to say about volunteering with Capital Hospice & Palliative Care:
"As a Capital HPC volunteer, I am afforded the unique opportunity of providing meaningful companionship and social support to assisted living patients. In this capacity, I work very closely with the Volunteer Coordinator, Debbie Struck. Debbie is an amazing supervisor, and I could not have asked for a better volunteer experience." Vershawn H., Capital Hospice Volunteer .
If you are interested in volunteering with Capital Hospice & Palliative Care, please contact our volunteer coordinator Hannah Youkhana directly at 630-395-7728 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to having you join our team!
