ORGANIZATION: Human Health Project

We are looking for an experienced and professional Engagement and Development (E&D) Lead to join the HHP Team! As the E&D Lead you will be supporting the Human Resources Team by managing a small team of volunteers in the area of volunteer engagement and development and you will work to ensure that volunteering with HHP remains a fun and rewarding experience!

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing on average 2-3 volunteers within the E&D Team
  • Planning and conducting regular E&D Team meetings
  • Overseeing all E&D Projects including:
    • Volunteer Onboarding (most important and high priority project)
    • Volunteer of the Quarter program, Monthly Recognition Programs
    • Exit Surveys and Thank You Letters for separations
    • Quarterly Exit Survey Analysis and Reports, Quarterly Onboarding Survey Analysis and Reports
    • Birthday and Anniversary program, Anniversary Interviews(Other Volunteer Communication Programs)
    • Monthly Newsletter
    • Update Communication Calendar and ensure all team members are adhering to timeline and updating the same
    • Other projects as assigned
  • Developing training modules for new and existing volunteers
  • Ensuring that tracking and team documents are filled out properly, including Timesheets.
  • Provide a monthly report of your team’s progress to the CEO
  • Attend monthly E&D Progress Report meeting with the CEO

Required Skills:

  • Experience working as an Engagement and Development professional.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when working with fellow volunteers.
  • Personable with effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the HR Team.
