Are you a skilled calligrapher? Then this opportunity may be "write" up your alley! The Can Do Woofaroo is just around the corner and we are seeking a calligrapher to help with one of our booths. At this year's event, attendees have the opportunity to get a paw print of their dog made, in addition to having their dog's name written next to it. The volunteer for this role would help write the names next to the paw prints. This opportunity will take place on Saturday, September 14 from 9:30 a.m - 2:00 p.m. We are seeking 2-3 volunteers. Even if you're available for only part of the time, we'd love to have you help.

Description
Our assistance dogs fetch amazing things. They provide the gifts of freedom, independence, and peace of mind to our clients and their families. These wonderful canines are specially trained for our clients who live with disabilities that involve mobility challenges, hearing loss or deafness, seizure disorders, autism, or diabetes complicated by hypoglycemia unawareness. Dogs, training and supplies are provided to each client free of charge thanks to the work of dedicated volunteers and contributions from generous individuals, corporations, foundations and service groups like the Lions.
