Please visit the new page to apply.
This year’s Olana Summer Market will return in August. Over 30 local artisans, music, and eateries will be parked on the picturesque Ridge Road at the Olana State Historic Site, the home and 250-acre landscape designed by 19 th century Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church. Come shop, picnic, relax & enjoy the views!
We are in need of volunteers for the Summer Market. If you’re interested, please contact Lauren Miller by email or phone at 518-751-6857.
About The Olana Partnership
5720 State Route 9G, Hudson, NY 12534, US
To inspire the public by preserving and interpreting Olana, Frederic Church's artistic masterpiece.
The Olana Partnership is the non-profit support arm of Olana State Historic Site. Olana, located in Hudson, NY, is considered one of the most important artistic residences in the United States. It is the last and perhaps greatest masterpiece created by Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900). Church designed and built his Persian style fantasy on the same hilltop where, as an eighteen-year-old student, he sketched spectacular views of the Catskills and the Hudson River alongside his mentor Thomas Cole.
Becoming a volunteer at Olana is a wonderful way to learn more about this unique and beautiful site, meet new people, and have a fun and rewarding experience.
We offer several opportunities and are always interested in speaking with prospective volunteers who have special skills or interests about other ways to contribute.
In appreciation for their contributions of time and energy, volunteers at Olana enjoy ongoing education and enrichment opportunities, trips to other museums and historic sites, and volunteer appreciation events throughout the year.
