Urgently seeking volunteers in the Pelion, SC area! Hospice volunteers provide companionship and socialization for 2-hour intervals as frequently as the volunteer desires. Hospice volunteers improve quality of life for patients struggling with terminal illnesses. Per Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, there is an application process for all interested in becoming a volunteer. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
