Urgently seeking volunteers in the Gaston/Swansea, SC area! Hospice volunteers provide companionship and socialization for 2 hour intervals as frequently as the volunteer desires. Hospice volunteers improve quality of life for patients struggling with terminal illnesses. Per Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, there is an application process for all hospice volunteers. Homestead Hospice is dedicated to our patients and their families. When someone you love is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, everything changes. We are here to guide you through this difficult journey so that you can spend quality time with your loved one.
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
