Urgent need for a hospice volunteer to provide companionship and socialization for a young adult hospice patient. Patient was very social before diagnosis and to give our patient the highest quality of living for the remainder of their life, we are seeking immediate volunteers. Hospice volunteers normally sit and provide socialization for 2 hour intervals however frequently they desire. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
