Social Media Specialist Volunteer

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist Volunteer to join the Hannah’s House team. Working closely with the Marketing and Outreach department, duties will include developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Volunteer applicants are required to complete online application and attend a volunteer information interview with volunteer manager and outreach manager and should have ability to commit to at least 5 hours a week for 6 months of volunteer service.

Qualifications

• Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impression
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Familiarity with web design and publishing tools
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills and great interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of social media; I.e blogs with many followers; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Link den
• Current Communications, Business, Social work, Psychology and Child Development student
• Understanding of the use of Social Media for campaigns and generating website traffic
