Do you like cooking and/or want to give back to the community?
The Good Neighbor Center is in need of some volunteers to help us with cooking and serving meals to our young people for programming! We can accommodate groups as well as individuals.
When? : Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week from about 5:30pm until 7:15pm. The meal is served at 6:30pm each evening.
We serve around 40-60 meals per evening on to the families and volunteers at GNC’s Tutoring Program. Meals typically include a protein, a grain, a fruit, and a vegetable, and we can provide all that you need to make the meals. You would be responsible for the planning, preparation, and serving of the meals, as well as for cleaning up after the meal.
Please reach out to us with any questions or if you are interested in helping us on one or all of the evenings.
