Just because you do not play an instrument does not mean that you can't be a part of a community orchestra! In fact, there are probably more ways that you can get involved than you are aware!
Concerts are very busy days for us, and with the goal of trying to educate, enrich, and entertain the community of the upstate, we are in constant need of people able to help us. From post concert receptions to the house management, there are many ways that you can get involved and be a part of a community organization that is seeking to come alongside the different sectors of our community, unite them together, and be a positive force.
We would love for you to join us in any way possible. Any way that you can assist as a volunteer is a huge help to us, and we would be honored for you to work together with us as we strive to help make not only Greer, but also the Upstate of South Carolina, a better place for us all.

Description
Performing in South Carolina since 2000, Foothills Philharmonic's vision for our role in the community can be summarized in three words: Educate, enrich, and entertain. With our clinician program, our Future Stars Scholarship Competition, and our Arts Management internship, we work to provide educational opportunities that are designed to help insure that the next generation is able to take up the torch and continue with the classical tradition, not only as musicians but also as concert patrons. Through putting on community events such as an art sale, a food drive, a toys for tots drive, a sensory friendly concert with events, as well as an instrument petting zoo, we enrich our community by helping sectors that might be missed by those around us. Finally, with our orchestral and chamber concerts, we put on numerous concert programs over the course of the season. All of these concerts are free and open to the public, insuring that people can afford to have a night of fun and enjoyment at our concerts.
