The CSB is gearing up for our first Spirit Week! Spirit week is a fun way to get CSB employees to interact with each other and show their agency pride.
Volunteer facilitators are needed to oversee our Cookies & Canvas activity. Attendees will be painting pre-drawn artwork while networking with their peers. The Facilitator’s tasks include:
- Prepping and setting up arts and crafts activity before the afternoon session
- Providing directions/guiding participants as they complete art project
- Cleaning up and organizing supplies as needed
No art experience necessary. We will be holding our Cookies & Canvas activity at multiple CSB sites, so let's talk and see which one is closest to you! For more information, please contact us at csbvolunteer@fairfaxcounty.gov.

The Fairfax-Falls Church CSB’s mission is to provide and coordinate a system of community-based supports for individuals and families of Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church who are affected by developmental delay, intellectual disability, serious emotional disturbance (youth), mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
Description
When you join our volunteer team, you will receive training, supervision, diverse educational experiences, and opportunities for personal growth. Various positions are available throughout Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The times and days available are flexible and include some evening and weekend opportunities, as well as regular weekday hours. By providing direct service, administrative support, or participating in special projects, volunteers are valuable members of our team.
