If you are interested in giving back in this very meaningful way consider volunteering with Avalon Hospice. We have opportunities in Polk County and surrounding counites to work with patients where they live - in their homes, assisted livings and nursing homes as well as opportunities in our office:

  • office administrative work
  • companionship to patients
  • providing respite to caregivers
  • delivering flowers to patients
  • pet therapy
  • light housekeeping/ running errands
  • reading to patients
  • other
We will work with your schedule and availability to find a meaningful opportunity for you!
In person visits require the use of PPE and social distancing. We have virtual opportunities as well!
