With a small staff, the LGBT Center of Raleigh relies on volunteers to keep our doors open for those who need us. We are looking for people interested in being front desk volunteers during the evening and on the weekends. Duties include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, helping with the library, giving out resources and much more.
Center drop-in hours are Sunday - Thursday 12(noon)-6:00pm and Friday 12(noon)-4:00pm
Orientation and training is required
Background checks required
Must be 18 and out of high school to volunteer

- Shifts are anywhere from 3-6 hours. There is no expectation of filling shifts on a regular weekly basis, but minimum is once every few months to keep on top of Center happenings.
