Meet Ty! He enjoys going out to eat, going to the movies for superhero/action movies, Star Wars, animated movies and more - just no "chick flicks"!

He also likes playing video games, listening to music, visiting museums, and going shopping at the mall and the comic book store.

Ty loves being social and having conversations with people, but having a developmental disability sometimes makes it harder to meet and make friends.

Being a Community Friend volunteer is a great way to make a big impact in a small amount of time. CCBDD's Community Friend program offers high-flexibility and low commitment, but the results are tremendous. Community Friend volunteers are required to meet with their match once a month for 2-3 hours per outing. That's it!

Can you help make a positive impact on his life by being his Community Friend?
