Embassy Suites - San Rafael
We're looking for volunteers to help us at our biggest community event of the year. This event gives us the opportunity to honor dedicated staff and community supporters who have been instrumental in the continued success of our programs over the past year. We also celebrate all the personal achievements of the people we support. Welcoming over 350 guests, this evening's festivities will continue to celebrate 65 years of providing support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The event will include a sit-down dinner, awards presentations, and dancing.

Since 1954 Lifehouse has opened the doors of opportunity and independence to individuals with developmental disabilities through life-skill training, community integration, advocacy, referral and information.
Description
We serve 350 clients directly living in nine group homes and apartments in San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma Counties. Our group homes teach independent living skills to assist clients to achieve greater independence in daily living and intermediate care facilities provide 24/7 medical support to clients with severe developmental disabilities. Our clients that live in apartments receive support and counseling hours according to their specific needs. We also offer recreational opportunities for teens and adults, and through our Marin Autism Collaborative work to improve services, education, and resources for individuals with autism in the county.
