Description
Drop Zone is after school program that connects our community's middle school students to positive activities and leadership. This is our 9th year of programming and we are excited to continue to grow! Rush creek started this program in order to help solve the fact that many Byron Center students go home to empty houses each afternoon. Drop Zone is also gateway for students to connect with age specific youth groups that happen at 6pm on the different days.
The students that come to Drop Zone like to have fun and connect with positive adult influences. They enjoy free time, a biblically based small group time, field trips, great snacks, and spending time with the leaders. This program happens on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons all school year from 2:50-5:30 with a leader meeting at 2:30 each day. We have a separate team for each day as each day caters to different grades. We love relationally encouraging students to better themselves socially, spiritually, and emotionally!
