Bring holiday cheer to survivors of domestic violence
3 people are interested
The Domestic Violence Center of Chester County is looking for seasonal volunteers to help with its annual Adopt-a-Family campaign! AAF volunteers support what is affectionately called "Elf Duty". They will help with the collection and distribution of gifts. This could require the unloading of gifts from donors, loading of gifts for participants, lifting of gift bags (max approximately 25 lbs.), wrapping of gifts, and "shopping" for gifts for unmatched participants. Activities are mainly indoors, but could require outdoor activities to receive and distribute gifts. Volunteers should have strong communication skills and be flexible and adaptive as AAF activities vary throughout the day and weekend.
For more information on AAF, please visit https://www.dvcccpa.org/adopt-a-family.
If you don't feel as though this is the right volunteer fit for you, consider becoming a donor this holiday season!
