Help Green Cambridge run the Fourth Annual Fly, Buzz, and Hop! Festival to spread the word about our local habitats and species in Cambridge.
We are looking for responsible adults with an interest in and enthusiasm for natural history, local environment, and the combination of the arts and education, who also have the ability and willingness to help out with practical aspects of running a large event.
* We need someone who can put up 20-30 posters for the festival on Wednesday, July 24, at particular locations in Cambridge.
* We need someone with a reliable vehicle, preferably no smaller than a wagon, to help transport our giant puppets of local species to the festival site in the morning, before the festival starts.
* We need an extra pair or two of hands at our art tables, during the last part of the festival, from 3:00 to 5:00
* We need people to be puppeteers for some of our giant puppets.
* We need people to watch over our arts tables, and pack up materials neatly for transport, during the parade, from 5:00 to 6:00.

Mission Statement
Green Cambridge works to create a more sustainable city and to protect the environment for the health and safety of all.
Description
Green Cambridge is the only sustainability organization focused entirely on Cambridge, MA. We work in the areas of food, energy, and trees. We are grounded in permaculture principles. We envision a more socially connected and equitable present that works toward a climate resilient future.
Our urban farm in East Cambridge connects communities to the growing cycle. We’ve helped lead Cambridge to toward NetZero energy goals ahead of other cities and towns. We prize the value of all trees growing in the city, no matter whose property they grow from. We support all work toward removing pavement and parking and increasing transit, pedestrian and bicycle facilities for a cleaner, safer, and healthier future. We educate emerging generations on the urban flora and fauna found in our city through multi-generational celebrations.
