Hi! Are you interested in learning more about the hospice industry by interacting with patients? At Priority Hospice, our volunteers are paired with a hospice patient to provide comfort and support during this difficult stage in life. You have the opportunity to give back to the community by being there four our patients. We offer a flexible schedule so you are able to set your own hours. You can engage in diversional activities with our patients such as: reading out-loud, writing letters for them, watching TV/ movies, talking, and playing board/ card games. Just by spending two or three hours of your day can really help the patient by providing caregiver relief, running errands, doing light household chores, and gardening.

Anyone is eligible to apply. Volunteers are required to pass a background check, undergo a medical screening, and have reliable form of transportation. We provide training that can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on your availability.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to email me at kenneth@priorityhospiceservices.com or call (626) 335-1082 and ask for Kenneth (Volunteer Coordinator).
Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon!
