Hello!

Priority Hospice is looking for volunteers who are able to provide support and comfort for our hospice patients and their families. We offer flexible hours and will work around your school/ job schedule. As a volunteer you can engage in recreational activities with our patients, which can include: bedside reading, writing, talking, watching TV/ movies, and playing board or card games. Your service will help the patients in many ways as you can provide caregiver relief, do light household chores, run errands, and light gardening.

We provide training that can take up to two weeks to complete, depending on your availability. Volunteers are required to pass a background check, undergo a medical screening, and have reliable transportation. As previously mentioned you are able to create your own schedule, we just ask that you provide at least a 6 month commitment to our patients. Anyone is eligible to apply to be a Priority Hospice Volunteer.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to email me at kenneth@priorityhospiceservices.com or call (626) 335-1082 and ask for Kenneth (Volunteer Coordinator).

Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon!
