ORGANIZATION: DuPage Children's Museum

The Program and Events Intern Volunteer assists the Public Programs Coordinator and Education & Programs Department in the planning and execution of educational programs for museum visitors, including but not limited to special events, pre-registered programs, daily programs, performances, and off-site programs. The Public Programs Intern will gain an in-depth understanding of museum program design, from conceptualization to implementation, as well as how education and public programs contribute to the Museum’s mission.

    • Assist with the planning, research, development, and implementation of programs for a diverse audience of caregivers and children aged 0-10 years old, including special events, pre registered programs, and daily programs
    • Research potential presenters and community partners
