We are looking for volunteers to facilitate a group of 6-10 adults to help learners improve reading comprehension and conversational skills in an informal environment and enhance the joy of reading, discussing books, and sharing ideas with others.
Reading Club members are individuals improving their conversation skills through reading books in informal small groups. Second language learners enter this program reading at least at a 6th grade reading level. They may have a college education or lower in their home country and are no longer beginning English learners, but want to work on their reading and conversation skills in order to continue improving their conversation skills and learn about the histories and cultures of the United States.
- (minimum 8 hours training required)
- Fridays, 12:30pm - 2:30pm
