We are looking for individuals that feel led to work with hospice patients and who have a dog that is certified/ registered by an American Kennel Club (AKC) recognized therapy dog organization.

Being a Hospice Volunteer is extreemly rewarding. We train and prepare you for hospice work. It requires no previous medial experience as volunteers are only used for emotional and social support.

Any other animals used for Pet Therapy may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and would be required to be certified/registered as appropriate.

Please click the "I want to help" button to let us know you are interested. Or you can call Karen Bartl, the Volunteer Coordinator directly at 251-680-2844.
