ReStore Floor and Warehouse Volunteers

Our ReStores are located at 3826 West Gate City Boulevard and 2190 Lawndale Drive; ReStores are retail arms of Habitat for Humanity Greensboro. Members of the community and local businesses donate items to the stores that we resell. All profits help to fund our mission to "bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope."

ReStores have a variety of tasks to participate in. You may help maintain the store, price items, interact with customers, help with receiving donations, load and unload our trucks, stage furniture and appliances, and more. As you volunteer at the ReStore, you may find that you have skills that you’d like to use. ReStores are always happy to help utilize your unique skill set to address issues in the store.

If you would like to volunteer, you must attend an orientation at our ReStore located at 3826 W. Gate City Blvd. Anyone over 18 may volunteer at the ReStore. Orientations are from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM every Tuesday, and from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM on the second Saturday of every month. Once you complete an orientation, you may begin volunteering. You will automatically receive 1-hour credit for attending.

Volunteer Groups do not have to attend orientation , but we ask that everyone in the party be 18 years of age or older. Please note that we can only manage groups of ten or less.
