Help make this an outstanding school year for kids in need!

The Salvation Army is looking for friendly volunteers for a one-day event, accepting school supply donations from shoppers at local WalMart stores. All supplies collected will be given to children in need from the Des Plaines Salvation Army Community Center at a later date.

Date: Saturday, August 3, 2019

Times: Available shifts are:
8:30am - Noon
Noon - 3:30pm
3:30pm - 6:30pm

Locations are WalMart stores in Lake Zurich, Mt. Prospect, Palatine and Des Plaines.

In communities throughout Chicago and the surrounding five-county area, we extend emergency and supportive assistance from 28 corps community centers, 80 service extension units, the Emergency Disaster Services Center, residential programs, mobile units, and several counseling sites.
