Time is our most precious gift; limited, yet of eternal value. What makes it so special is how you use it. Why not share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills are necessary, just a listening ear, a smile, and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend. Elara Caring is currently looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide that "personal touch" to local hospice patients. Each volunteer will provide companionship, play cards/games, watch old movies, or just converse. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible - weekdays, evenings or weekends. All we ask that you would visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week. So, as a student looking to help another person and acquire volunteer hours for school, or as an adult willing to share some time and a smile, contact us today.
We provide you the appropriate type of care wherever you call home. Our team’s understanding of a patient's health needs allows us to deliver proactive, customized care that improves quality of life and keeps you comfortable and safe at home. Elara Caring Hospice volunteers are compassionate, giving individuals from all walks of life who share the most precious gift they have - their time - to enhance the lives of others.
