Respitality is a three hour visit that hosts respite residents/patients, so their family caregivers can have some peace of mind. Family Caregivers, work around the clock to ensure their love ones are well taken care of. It is important to relieve them of their duties, so they can have a mental break. During this visit, each volunteer is assigned to one of hour patients and they are buddies for the entire length of the visit. Both the volunteers and the patients love visits like this because they have a chance to build a relationship with each other and make a new friend although it is a difficult time in their life. Our volunteers bring hope and joy to our patients allowing our organization to live up to its name as Family Comfort Hospice.
