About Us

  • At the Center for Free, Fair, and Accountable Democracy (CFFAD), we help Americans understand and explain why democracy is precious and how, together, we can protect and improve the foundations of trust in our republic.
  • Our work is made possible thanks to the support of volunteers who develop educational content and marketing materials, and help with fundraising efforts.

About CENTER FOR FREE FAIR AND ACCOUNTABLE DEMOCRACY INC

Location:

2500 N FLORIDA ST, ARLINGTON, VA 22207, US

Mission Statement

America’s republican democracy and its liberal promises of freedom and equality are at risk: . Too many American adults neither understand nor trust how our system of government works. . Instead of insisting on a free and fair competition of ideas, too many look the other way when their politicians bend or break the rules to win. In response, we help Americans understand and explain why democracy is precious and how, together, we can protect and improve the foundations of trust in our republic. We do so by providing materials for civic education, ages 18 and up.

Description

We are still in the start-up phase but have already made great progress! We tripled our website visitors in 2021, published a viral blog post, and got several extracts of our course on the presidency published on Ballotpedia's website.
