We need your help prepping our home for boys before school starts!
We'll be organizing rooms, doing small repairs (think tightening knobs on dressers), taking unused furniture to Goodwill, painting, and moving furniture in preparation for new carpet.
Morning shifts will lean toward the organizing/small repair side of things; afternoon/eve shifts will lean toward furniture relocation and donation pile.
BHGH of KC identifies academically capable boys in need and provides them with a family like home and a college preparatory education.4 Shifts

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City nurtures and guides motivated young people in need to become well-educated, career-ready men for others.
Description
Boys come to live in our family-like home as early as 5th grade and remain part of our program through college graduation. When a boy becomes a scholar in our program, he enrolls with one of our college preparatory educational partners. We supplement their education with a rigorous academic program outside of school, along with life coaching, health and wellness services, college selection, admission, and persistence, and career exploration. At this time we serve boys only, but we plan to open a home for girls in the next five years.
There are so many ways to volunteer with us, and we hope you will join us in coming alongside motivated youth in need as they become well-educated, career-ready men for others.
