Volunteers Needed!
Join V-O-Cal for its annual San Francisco project at McLaren Park, one of the largest parks in SF! We will work with the SF Rec and Park's Natural Areas Program doing rerouting to create more walkable trails and help mitigate erosion. Minimal poison oak, moderate temperatures and fun!
- Make a lasting contribution
- Tools, gloves, instructions, meals, beer on Saturday evening & sun showers provided
- Volunteer 1 day or the whole weekend!
- Optional camping Friday & Saturday nights - we’re the only group allowed to camp in San Francisco parks
- No previous experience necessary
- Opportunities available on trail or in base camp

Volunteers for Outdoor California (V-O-Cal) engages the community to build and maintain trails and restore natural habitat. V-O-Cal works in partnership with public agencies and other non-profit organizations and conducts large-scale weekend volunteer stewardship projects all over Northern California.
Description
Volunteers for Outdoor California was founded to provide a volunteer workforce for land stewardship activities on public lands. With groups of 100-500 volunteers, we conduct weekend projects all over Northern California, offering volunteers a broad range of project opportunities.
