The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This gives them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
The Special Olympics Northern California and Nevada Headquarters are located in Pleasant Hill, CA. We are looking for an Office Volunteer to help us with managing information and records, and hoping to find someone who can work in our office for a three to four hour shift once a week.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, and willing to fill out an application and submit for a background check.
The work performed in this role will help us continue to provide programs and competitions that are so meaningful to our athletes. Thank you for considering helping Special Olympics!
