- The Grant Assistant Volunteer position is for talented individuals that possess the skills to assist in grant research and applications. You will be a great asset to the team in pushing our mission forward. Grant Assistant Volunteers can expect to have fun while striving to achieve individual and team goals in a small office, team-based environment.
Grant Assistant Volunteers receive training and ongoing coaching from MDA staff and assist in filing out grant forms from a list provided by the MDA, for the entire shift. This volunteer opportunity has the potential to be ongoing/long term.
Time Commitment: - Positions are project and events focused and are flexible to the volunteer’s schedule. Weekdays, from 9am-5pm are preferred.

The local MDA office is avalible to serve anyone with one of the over 43 neuromuscular diseases in the Association's program. MDA today is one of the world's leading voluntary health agencies fostering research and medical care. Programs supported by your local MDA office include, clinics, summer camp, support groups, and research. The Association receives no government or United Way funding.
