Do It Green! Minnesota is seeking volunteers to help us make the 2019 Green Gifts Fair a success! The Green Gifts Fair, hel d Saturday, November 23rd a t the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis, is a fun and eco-friendly way to start the holidays, with more than nearly 100 vendors, live music, green living demos, silent auction, family activity area, and more! Our theme this year is #MyGreenCommunity -- inspiring and supporting our local and global communities.
The Green Gifts Fair wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of all our volunteers! All volunteers will receive a Do It Green! Minnesota recycled t-shirt and an appreciation gift. A list of the available roles and times can be found below. Do you know someone who might like to volunteer? Please pass along this posting and encourage them to sign up!

AVAILABLE ROLES AND TIMES
Saturday November 23
Set-Up Shift (7:00am - 10:00am)
- Set-up Crew - help set up tables, decorations, and displays
Morning Shift (9:30am - 12:30pm)
- Greeter - welcome visitors to the Green Gifts Fair!
- Demo Leader - interact with visitors at one of the demonstrations
- Family Activity Area Assistant - staff one of the activities in the Family Area
- General/Vendor Assistant - help vendors with breaks and errands
Midday Shift (12:00pm - 3:00pm)
Afternoon Shift (2:30pm - 5:30pm)
- Greeter - welcome visitors to the Green Gifts Fair!
- Low-waste monitor - help keep the Green Gifts Fair low-waste
- Demo Leader - interact with visitors at one of the demonstrations
- Family Activity Area Assistant - staff one of the activities in the Family Area
- General/Vendor Assistant - help vendors with breaks and errands
Take Down Shift (5:00pm - 8:00pm)
- Take-down Crew - help with take-down and cleaning at the end of the Fair including demo booths, vendor tables, silent auction items, and low-waste stations

The mission of Do It Green! Minnesota is to educate Minnesotans about green and sustainable living and to promote the building of healthy, local communities.
Description
We provide sustainability education through our printed guidebook Do It Green! Magazine, our website www.doitgreen.org, community projects and skillshares, special events, and our Resource Kiosk at the Midtown Global Market. We are a volunteer-run organization, and we are always in need of members of the community to help us in our sustainability efforts.
