Harvesters small

Volunteers will sort and repackage donated food and household supplies in our Volunteer Engagement Center (VEC), for distribution to more than 620 social service agencies in a 26-county area, helping to feed up to 141,500 people every month. (Warehouse is open Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., and until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings for volunteer participation.)

Opportunity can include sorting and packing donated food and household products, packing seniors' boxes year-round, gleaning fresh produce, and packing BackSnack kits (a weekend feeding program for kids during school year). This is a great opportunity for kids, families, seniors, corporate groups, faith-based groups, school groups, service clubs, etc. Educational video and tour and/or service-learning may be included as well.
