USHER for the Oregon Symphony in Salem
Be an Usher for the Oregon Symphony in Salem!
November 1 is our third concert of the season.
Ushers will need to check patrons' tickets using a scanner, and show them to their seats. One usher per concert will also be finding patrons' tickets via will call. Ushers meet in the lobby of Smith Auditorium at 5:45. Ushers are required to wear white shirts and black pants. If you are interested, a training is required. Although he composed his First Symphony during a cold Leipzig winter, Robert Schumann later claimed, "I wrote the symphony in that rush of spring which carries a man away even in his old age, and comes over him anew every year." Pianist Stephen Hough performs Mendelssohn's glittering Piano Concerto, a hidden gem full of fire and drama.
