Atlas Assistance Dogs (Atlas) is looking for a volunteer web-developer to maintain and expand development on our wordpress site.
Our present need is to finish building out our store, which is being developed in the Woo Commerce platform, and then to implement updates for SEO.
Strong experience with CSS is essential as the site has a great deal of customized CSS. A minimal amount of custom javascript is also present.
Keeping our site accessibility friendly is core to all we do.
Applicants can be in any location and must be comfortable with online communication. Involvement includes review of our current website design and content, and participation in the design of our new and improved site. Applicants should be comfortable being self-directed and able to expand the site keeping the current look and feel.
Atlas Assistance Dogs is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit working to ensure access to assistance dogs for anyone who would benefit from them by bringing qualify training and certification to the individual wishing to be part of training their own dog.

Description
Atlas Assistance Dogs helps people who legally qualify for an assistance dog under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to obtain a certified assistance dog. We help to resolve challenges and remove barriers people face in obtaining an assistance dog. To do this, we:
- Serve people with a wide range of disabilities.
- Operate in a broad geographical area.
- Serve all types of people.
- Work with all dog breeds.
- Enable people to work with their own dogs.
- Enable people to train their own dogs or participate in the training.
