Summer Festival volunteers

Nippon Club of the Triangle's Summer Festival will be on Aug 3, 2019 (Sat) at the NC State Fairgrounds, and we're looking for volunteers to join the team! If you've already filled out the form, thank you! We will be emailing everyone more information sometime in the next week.There's some perks for volunteering! They include:

• Free Admission to the festival
• Volunteer t-shirt
• Saturday breakfast (likely bagels/coffee for those coming early)
• Saturday lunch (likely sandwiches and yakisoba)
• Access to "volunteer area" with snacks/water, chairs to sit/rest

If you are interested, please complete the volunteer registration form so we have your contact information and some details about you and your availability. Majority of the help is needed from 10am-3pm the day of the festival. If you have specific availabilities, please let us know on the form so we can accommodate accordingly.

Areas we need your help: Cafe/food: Let us know if you are comfortable working in the kitchen to cook, assist, serve, etc. This is the station where we need the most help. Cashiers: We need people comfortable with handling cash and debit/credit cards via the Square app on tablets.
Line control: We need people to monitor traffic flow, clear walkways, guide people, report issues, etc.
Transportation: If you can help with transporting materials the morning of the event, let us know! We will be transporting materials from storage to the event site. Set up: We're looking for people that can help set up decorations the Friday before the event. We hope you'll join the volunteer team!
