Community Picnic Volunteers for July 27th

Women Inspired Neighborhoods (WINs) is hosting its annual community picnic at Trailside Park (1022 Crestview Dr, Herndon, VA 20170) on Saturday, July 27th! 60 community members will gather in celebration. Cornerstones has been proud to work with this community partner and would like to assist on this special day.

Volunteer Information

  • Volunteers will be needed to help out with set-up, cooking, youth activities and clean-up. See the shifts and the times below:

    Event Set Up 10:00am - 11:00am

    Assist with Youth Activities 11:00am - 2:00pm

    Cook/Grill Food 11:00am - 2:00pm

    Clean Up Crew 3:00pm - 4:00pm

  • Volunteers must be at least 13 years old and those under 16 years old will need an adult chaperone.

Cornerstones helps individuals and families survive tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living community. Through advocacy and support services, we connect our clients to the vital resources they need to build more self-sufficient lives. Our success comes from a comprehensive array of programs, wrap-around services that solve urgent or on-going requirements for housing, childcare, food or financial assistance all with the goal to sustain healthy families, secure housing, and financial independence.
