Join the Green Kirkland Partnership and help volunteer to kick-off restoration at Kingsgate Park.

This park features beautiful rustic trails winding through a stand of mature conifer and deciduous trees and a wonderful tree canopy. Your help is needed to cut and pull invasive ivy from these majestic trees (year-round) and restore the depleted native understory by planting trees, shrubs and groundcovers (in fall).

No experience necessary and all tools provided!

This park is looking for a local volunteer Green Kirkland Steward to care for the forest, engage neighbors and host events - contact us (by clicking the "respond" button) if you're interested in learning more.
