Join the Alliance for the Great Lakes for a beach cleanup at Erie Basin Marina. Volunteers will be picking up plastic pollution and other trash to help keep the beach and the Great Lakes clean.


Please meet at the Observation Tower at the end of Erie Street.

In order to reduce our own use of plastic, please bring your own work gloves and trash bucket if possible (plastic bags and gloves will also be available as needed).

Description

For more than 25 years our Adopt-a-Beach program has worked to keep Great Lakes shorelines healthy, safe, and beautiful. The program is largest of it’s kind in the region. Adopt-a-Beach touches all five Great Lakes with volunteers from all eight Great Lakes states.

Adopt-a-Beach is about community, and we want you to be a part of it! Join us and thousands of Great Lakes lovers to keep our beaches beautiful. It’s easy! All you have to do is:

  • Find an Adopt-a-Beach cleanup near you and sign up.
  • Show up at the beach.
  • Clean up, make friends and have fun!
