Priority Hospice is looking for volunteers who are able to dedicate their time to our hospice patients. You will be able to create your own schedule with the patients and we are grateful for any amount of time you are able to give. Some ways you are able to engage with our patients include: bedside reading, writing letters, talking, watching TV/ movies, gardening, and playing board games. Your involvement can help the patients in many ways as well, you can provide caregiver relief, do light household chores, or run errands for them.

Anyone is eligible to apply. Direct Patient Volunteers must have a reliable form of transportation, pass a background check, undergo a medical screening, complete our training program and provide at least a 6 month commitment. The application process can take about 2 weeks to complete, depending on your availability.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to email me at or call (626) 335-1082 and ask for Angelica (Volunteer Coordinator).

Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon!
