Underground Railroad (URR) offers shelter and services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking and trafficking. URR has staff at several locations. Two locations are in need of reception office assistance.
If you are a people person who has office experience or is willing to learn, this may be just the opportunity for you. You will interact with and have the opportunity to offer encouragement to those served. Tasks will involve answering the door via an intercom system, answering the phone and transferring calls, informing staff their appointment has arrived, assisting donors, light cleaning and making all feel welcome. Days and hours help is needed, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. A minimum four hour per week commitment is desired.
