2017 was the inaugural of another one of the foundation's signature events - Family Campout! Families young and old come together on the fields of Red Morton Park for a BBQ, games, stories, a bonfire with s'mores, tents and a pancake breakfast the next morning. Volunteers have as much fun as the campers!

Description
- Partner with Redwood City Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services
- Raise community awareness and support for parks, recreation, and the arts
- Leverage and expand available financial resources to enhance and increase parks, recreation and the arts
- Focus on priority projects and high-impact programs that meet community needs
- Partner and collaborate with other organizations to access unique resources to provide more programs for our community.
- Host premier events and initiatives in Redwood City, such as Chalk Full of Fun Festival, Family Campout, Picnic en Blanc, Salsa Festival, Oktober Fest, CATA Mural, Open Paint, and more.
