Navian Hawaii, formerly Hospice Hawaii, is looking for friendly volunteers who embody the aloha spirit! We would like volunteers in this role to provide reception and front desk support at both our Iwilei office and Kailua Home. If you are looking to give back to the hospice community but don't want to do patient visits, or are a student and are looking to get a feel for the medical field, you've come to the right place!
Duties include answering and transferring incoming phone calls, taking messages accurately, greeting visitors and staff, and assisting with miscellaneous tasks as needed. You will also be able to get to know the staff members involved in hospice care, and join an amazing volunteer team! You will report to and coordinate your hours with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Regular office hours are Monday-Friday at the Iwilei office and Saturday-Sunday at the Kailua Home. Preferred shifts are 8am-12pm, and 12pm-4:30pm. You may work only 2 shifts a month if desired - We are willing to work with your schedule!

As Hospice Hawaii, we provided Hospice Care at journey’s end. Now as Navian Hawaii, we provide care for every life journey. Our company is comprised of two distinct service lines: Navian Hospice Hawaii, serving hospice patients, and Navian Integrated Care Hawaii, serving patients who are still receiving curative treatment.
Navian is a combination of words "Navigator" and "Guardian." As a navigator, we provide clarity and guidance through times of uncertainty. As a guardian, we care for people and protect their wishes. Navian Hawaii is here to guide and assist patients and their families through difficult times, providing Integrated Care to patients battling serious illnesses or delivering Hospice Care to patients nearing their end-of-life journey.
